First Aid
at Work
3 days

Most cardiac arrests occur in adults, NHS Ambulance Services attempt resuscitation in approximately 30,000 people each year.  Out of hospital sudden cardiac arrest survival rate is less than 12 percent, CPR can double or even triple the chances of survival. Serious bleeds occur on the roads, in the workplace, at home or at leisure, when they do, you only have minutes to act to save the life of that person. In short, these two emergencies can happen anywhere, at any time to any person.
