About
Our 16 hr (2 day) certified Outdoor First Aid Course is suitable for national governing body outdoor qualifications. This includes those administered by Mountain Training, British Canoeing, Royal Yachting Association, British Caving Association, British Association of Snowsports Instructors and others. This qualification is also ideal for outdoor enthusiasts seeking to be better prepared in an emergency situation.This qualification is externally regulated and meets the standards of the national qualification’s framework. This course is recognised throughout the UK and is the course of choice for experienced practitioners who use the outdoors.
With the course running over 2 days there are a large number of realistic scenarios which are highly practical in nature which enable learners to recognise and treat injuries and illnesses.
Students gain skills and knowledge which they can adapt to different situations, this ensures the training is more applicable to outdoor scenarios and helps students gain vital life-saving skills and knowledge.
As a result, all that attend our courses learn how to deal confidently and competently with a wide range of situations that could arise in the outdoors.
Successful participants are awarded the 16 Hour Outdoor First Aid Certificate. This certificate is valid for three years.
